Meeting with a Dragon Stone Master

This Dragon Trail led me to the island of Adelsö, Sweden. I had the privilege of spending an afternoon with a traditional rune stone master artist who lives there practicing a thousand year old art form. Each rune that is cut into granite is a message that will be read thousands of years into the future, just as we read today the ancestral stones from 1000 AD. The dragon protects the stone and the runic inscription.
