Beginner friendly course in Norse Myth, Story and Practice - 3 sessions 

 

This is a course of three sessions for those completely new to Norse Myth, Ceremony and the Northern Tradition, especially tailored to those who have an ancestry in Scandinavia, and also for those who have none, but who have an interest in learning and understanding more.

In these sessions we lay down the mythical basics and the cosmological ground and anatomy that we can stand on, the ritual year and ceremonial dedications.  You will learn about the creation myth and the cultural pantheon of Gods and Goddesses and their stories and how they interrelate.  

This is looking at the big picture and the sources and opportunities that we have available to work with this material further. 

After these three sessions, you will have a good understanding of the Northern tradition and what content you can develop and work with and find out if you want to progress further and whether you would like to take a longer course or starting a pro-active practice.
